AS2 Task Five – Pre-production Planning

Proposal
Prepared by
Jack Fox

I will be producing an ident for the television channel E4. The ident will be recorded and then played back in reverse. The reason for this is because the person within the ident will be 'solving' a Rubik's cube whilst blindfolded. The only way I can achieve this is by starting off with a solved Rubik's cube and then moving the colours into the wrong order. When I then play the footage back it will look as though it is being solved with a blindfold on. To make it more convincing I will have someone walk past in the background backwards so that when reversed it looks as though they are just walking past normally.

Contingency Plan

Potential problems and how to overcome these problems:

Wires on floor - Make sure I tidy up the vicinity before filming. Tripping on wires is dangerous so they need to be taped to the floor or tucked away.

Water could be spilled - Make sure the glass is on a steady table and is not about to overflow.
